- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- At the end of this course, student shoud be able oriented at the special literature to general management; The student is concerned with general management used in contractor as well as non contractor kinds of organization; The student shoud be able to provide with basic knowledge usable in practice; The student should be ready to pursue study of special domain in management concentrated at managing teams and human leadership; The student should understand basic knowledge of managerial thinking, and of attitudes toward work with people, especially in small working groups.
- Syllabus
- 1. Historical development od management. Introduction. Conduct and management, fundamental concepts. Classic management, age, school of thinking and management. Managerial revolution, approaches to management in 20. century. Current trends in management. Release of hierarchy – decentralization, outsourcing. Formation of networks – forms of strategic partnership, strategic alliance. Virtual enterprise.
- 2. Leadership in organization. Fiddle with organization structure. Introduction. Buildin of successful organization. Pyramid of vitality. Efficiency cater of organization, processes, resources. Systematization of action of organization, derivation of human resources. Functional structure of organization. Basic kinds of organizations structures. Fiddle with firm action balance. Role of money in firm. Cater of organization dynamics.
- 3. Individual leadership, opening human potentiality up. Introduction. Human resources, quality, competences, attitudes (loyalty). Diagnosis of individual potentiality. Appearing causes of failures – attitudes change. Strategy of human leadership, pyramid of organization culture. Motivation, stimulation. Motivation influence of personality, environment (theory of A. Maslow). Conflict behaviour of people – analysis and manage of conflict situation. Individual development of workers and area of personal growth.
- 4. Team leadership, group modification to teams. Introduction. Gauge of interpersonal relationships. Exploitation of competition, support of teamwork, passivity handle. Differences among people, conflict in groups. Formation and development of team. Separation of roles in team, development of team – ideas sharing. Styles of teams and groups managing.
