Course objectives
Lessons in the seminar “Selected Current Issues of Czech Literature Teaching Methodology at University” are organized in blocks and proceed in form of discussions on the following topics:
1. How to lead a student project, seminar works and final works at university;
2.Preparation of a seminar for BA and MA students;
3. Work of a student and a teacher with primary and secondary literature;
4. Preparation and principles of planning and realization of a research in literary science.
Syllabus
  • - Assignment of students’ works. Techniques of looking for, setting and developing topics.
  • - Preparation of the lesson plan. Preparation of a lesson. Management of a lesson.
  • - Work with literature, catalogue of reading.
  • - Assessment of students’ works. Assessment and reflection of lessons
  • - Structure of office hour consultations.
  • - Leading of students’ works. Elaboration of an expert opinion.
