Course objectives
The seminar is entended for the individual work of students as the result of an active participation in observing high school lessons of physics. The cycle is followed by critical discussion of individual lessons. Within the framework of the seminar the students solve [elaborate] some other problems of teaching physics at high schools. The seminar follows the lectures " Didactics of physics 1" in some parts
Syllabus
  • 1. Syllabus of physics lectures at various types of high schools. 2. The physics lecturer`s working place. 3. The textbooks of physics and the textbooks of maths, chemistery, biology and geography. The relation among science courses. 4. Physics lessons observvations: - The analysis of lessons - The motivation and activity of students - Teaching methods - Experiments - Using didactic techniques - Methods of testing students` knowledge 5. Individual work of students with the informations - literature, magazines and encyklopediae. Internet. 6. The ways of popularization of physics. Teacher`s information : The students make minutes from the observations. These minutes are materials for seminar discussions. The condition for getting credits is participation in observations ana an active participation in seminar discussions.
