At the end of the course students should be able to:
Skim and scan texts on Earth Science; give main ideas; make deductions from texts;
Define the terms, classify and compare;
Speak and write about oneself, life, his or her hometown and studies, Masaryk University and field topics of this course;
Understand lectures on field topics of this course (both general and specific information);

Assessment methods
Each course is finished by a credit test and two talks or presentations. The passing grade of the credit test is 60%. The condition for a successful finishing of the course is passing the test and talks, saving homework ROPOTS and 85% active attendance in the seminars.
