- Course Enrolment Limitations
- The course is also offered to the students of the fields other than those the course is directly associated with.
- fields of study / plans the course is directly associated with
- there are 12 fields of study the course is directly associated with, display
- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as understanding of the main principles of single crystal structural analysis, but we describe here not only the theoretical background of diffraction on single crystal, but also the technical equipment used during diffraction experiments and the basic steps and methods used during processing of experimental data and solving of protein structures. The course CB070 is closely connected to exercise CB080.
- Learning outcomes
- At the end of this course, student will be: - able to understand and explain basic principles of monocrystal x-ray crystallography - introduced to history of x-ray crystallography - introduced to x-ray crystallography instrumentation - introduced to basic methodology of x-ray crystallography - introduced to practical examples from the fiel
