Course objectives
At the end of the course the student will be able to:
- to understand and explain the principles of scientific communication in the field of animal physiology and immunology
- use relevant scientific information to prepare seminar and final thesis - create presentation about his/her own work and defend it from a professional audience
- present reasonable and rational decision based on his/her own work
- interpret and discuss the results of his/her own work

Syllabus
  • The programm of the seminar differs each semester. Presentations of undergraduate or postgraduate students represent the majority of the program, about 30 % is covered by invited speakers from other departments or institutions.

  • Respective literature is assigned in the course of the seminar.

Teaching methods
Individual presentations of bachelor or diploma theses of individual students presented once a year as well as active participation of invated speakers from other departments and institutions.
Assessment methods
Regular weekly seminars. Individual presentations of bachelor and diploma theses as well as active participation and presence on at least 80 % of seminars.
