- After completing this course the student will be able to:
understand authentic biological texts/lectures
identify the main ideas
formulate the main ideas
interpret the information
discuss about general and biological topics
present simple biological topics using basic presentation techniques
summarize a simple biological text
classify
compare and contrast
identify causes and effects
describe a process
apply acquired skills to new topics - Learning outcomes
- After the course, students will be able to desribe organ system and individual organs of the body and their functions; describe a biological process; define biological terms; describe plant parts; engage in discussions on a topic related to biology (nutition, malnutrition); give a presentation on a topic from their field of study

- Each course is concluded with a credit test - The passing grade is 60%. 80% attendance in seminars is required.
