- Cíle předmětu
- This seminar will investigate how environmental communication processes like stakeholders meetings, environmental impact assessments, environmental education processes, environmental political debates can be facilitated. It will look into different possibilities of programming communication about environment, the "why"s and it will give students the chance to investigate and train their own facilitation skills.

- Two full days, 10:00 - 17:30 on Friday 26 and Saturday 27 November 2010.
Two full days, 10:00 - 17:30 on Friday 10 and Saturday 11 December 2010.
Exam: in January or February.
Students are expected to attend all blocks, as facilitation is not something that can be learned from books, but only by interaction.
The methods used will be highly interactive and participative. The seminar blocks will not exist of lectures, but of interactive group work. Also students need to count with intensive homework between the seminar sessions.
The complete seminar will take place in English.
The course will be examined orally on the basis of the work done during the blocks and background literature. - Vyučovací jazyk

- Teaching will be two blocks of two days (Friday 26, Saturday 27 November and Friday 10, Saturday 11 December).
Literature to be studied is described at great detail in the more concrete syllabus that can be found in Study Materials of IS Information System).
Ir. Jan Haverkamp studied biochemistry and nuclear physics at the University of Leiden, and environmental sciences, social and environmental psychology and communication psychology at Wageningen University in the Netherlands. He worked 10 years in the development of environmental NGOs in Eastern Germany, Czecho-Slovakia, Romania, Ukraine, Albania and Croatia before he emigrated to the Czech Republic. He is founder of the ZHABA facilitators collective and a member of the International Association of Facilitators. He combines the work as free-lance facilitator with consultant in energy and environment issues in Central Europe for Greenpeace and the World Information Service on Energy (WISE/NIRS). Currently he is EU policy campaigner dirty energy for the Greenpeace EU Unit based in Brussels. He is 51 years old and lives in Prague with his 16 year old daughter and has an 18 year old son in the Netherlands. - Další komentáře
