- Course objectives
- The course aims to introduce the phenomenon of ethnic conflicts. The participants will get a basic knowledge about theoretical concepts, terms and categories which are connected to the research of ethnic conflicts. The main focus of the course lies in the particular case studies.

Development and dynamics of inter-ethnic realtions in post-communist area 4. Development and dynamics of inter-ethnic realtions in post-communist area 5. Causes of inter-ethnic conflict – case study Naghorno Karabach 6. Dynamics of inter-ethnic armed conflict – Georgia - Abkhazia 7. Reading week 8. Intra-state and economic dimension of the conflict in Bosnia and Herzegovina 9. Asymetric conflic - case study Chechenya 10.
