Course objectives
Obtaining competencies in assessing the degree of risk to public health and the health of individuals arising from the environment and lifestyle. Obtaining skills in planning actions, processes and programs to promote and protect health. Understanding the determinants of infectious diseases, disinfection and sterilization principles. Penetration into the topic of epidemic and pandemic spread of disease. Getting acquainted with hygiene issues in health care facilities.
Learning outcomes
Student will be able to: understand the assessment of the degree of risk to public health and the health of individuals arising from the environment and lifestyle. He gains skills in planning actions, processes and programs to promote and protect health. Student will understand the determinants of infectious diseases, the principles of disinfection and sterilization. He will understand the epidemic and pandemic spread of diseases. He will become familiar with hygiene issues in health care facilities and will be able to apply these principles in their future health care practice.

  • 1.Advising in lifestyle-oriented prevention. 2. Collective immunity, serological reviews, vaccination programs. 3. Nosocomial infections. 4. Safety of work. 5. Epidemiology of infectious diseases in emergency situations (natural disasters, civil unrest, war).
