- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to describe the specifics of special education diagnostics at people with physical disabilities. Emphasis will be put on interdisciplinary cooperation.
- Learning outcomes
- Expected outcomes: - The student is orientated in somatopedic terminology; - Can select and describe the diagnostic methods and tools used in the somatopedic diagnosis; - Is able to characterize diagnostic domain for pupils with physical disabilities; - can explain the somatopedic specifics of diagnosis according to age period.
- Syllabus
- Warp: - the conception of special education somatopedic diagnostics, the target group (selected types of physical disability and disease). - Diagnostics in partical periods of development (early age, preschool age, school age, maturity). - Diagnostic methods and tools (clinical, general, recording sheets). - Areas of diagnostic domains for students with physocal disabilities. - Specifics of school readiness, school attendance delay. - Specifics of pre-professional preparation of students with physical disabilities . - Consulting services, interdisciplinary cooperation. - Presentation of compensation aids, discussions. - Case studies - presentation, diagnostic procedures, discussions.
