- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to introduce students to the issue of people with severe disabilities and concomitant disabilities multiple disabilities in terms of education, intervention and counselling.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is oriented in the terminology and characteristics of people with combined disabilities, can apply counseling theories in practice.
- Syllabus
- Laps: 1. Terminological bases: definition of the term severe physical disability, etiological factors, classification. 2. Characteristics of people with severe disabilities and concomitant disabilities multiple defects. 3. Diagnosis of a child from three to six years. School maturity. 4. Symptomatic speech disorders in children with MO. Striking signs of oral development. Food intake. 5. Communication of persons with severe disabilities (general characteristics, means of communication, support of communication, alternative and augmentative communication). 6. Support of a child with combined disabilities. 7. Counselling and special pedagogy. Competences, objectives and legislation for special pedagogical counselling. 8. Network of counselling facilities. 9. Principles of advisory intervention. 10. Methods and means of counselling work. 11. Special pedagogical diagnostics in counselling. 12. Counselling in the field of pre-primary education, school maturity. 13. Counselling in the field of school education, career counselling. 14. Interdisciplinary cooperation. 15. Case studies, analysis of selected case studies.
