Course objectives
Student after successful completion of the course:
be information literate in relation to data and information, be able to assess credibility, search and work with information and resources;
will be able to securely manage data and information, assess security risks on the Internet and in the wider context of ICT;
will be able to evaluate the risks of social interventions on the Internet from the perspective of not only primary school students and to orientate in terms of related and risk prevention;
will know current trends and opportunities in education using ICT.
Learning outcomes
Student after successful completion of the course:

Syllabus
  • 1. Information literacy and legal aspects (Information, data, citations, sources, computer piracy, copyright, gdpr)
  • 2. Acquisition and verification of information (search, database, fake news, hoax,…)
  • 3. IT literacy (online accounts, passwords, encryption, IT security, electronic signature, anonymity, wifi security)
  • 4. IT security (malware, phishing, social engineering, antivirus protection, spam, hoax and fake news)
  • 5. Social networks and children's communication on the Internet (risks of social networks, security of online communication)
  • 6. Online safety of children on the Internet (cyberbullying, cybergrooming, cyberstalking, online challenges, sexting, etc.)
  • 7. IT in education today and tomorrow (online education, e-learning, 3D printing, VR, cloud)
