- Cíle předmětu
- The scope of linguistics, the history of linguistics, varieties of English, psycholinguistics, sociolinguistics and ethnolinguistics affecting language teaching strategies. Having completed the course, the studnets should have a general insight into the main areas of general linguistics. At the end of the course students should understand the basis of linguistics and be able to start studying particular branches of linguistics in detail. They will especially be acquainted with basic linguistic terminology and essentials streams of linguistics and their representatives.
