- Course objectives
- The topics define both the monological and dialogical oral and writing skills. Exercises apply the practice of elementary speech skills – listening, speaking, reading, and writing. The emphasis is given on mastering vocabulary, grammar, pronunciation, and intonation. Special focus is given the theme of how to analyse and describe the Russian accent correctly.

- Teaching methods
- Students work up homework and within an individual work they elaborate essays during the study. Students work individually and they also cooperate in group projects. They continuously read Russian texts.

- Written tests and oral exam. Credit course, active participation, homeworks.
