- Course objectives
- The students, mostly practising teachers in schools, will reflect on their teaching and develop areas that are problematic for them individually. They will also prepare materials for their final examination. After this course the students will be able to:
- specify their needs as English teachers
- look at their own teaching style critically and set their own aims to develop their teaching
- give constructive feedback to their peers and accept the feedback from their peers
- investigate and apply theoretical principles of TEFL
- choose, adapt and evaluate materials for their teaching - Syllabus

- seminars with active participation, practical examples, self-studying, observations in schools, microteaching

- The students will be formally assessed on:
- setting up their future action plan for their professional development (essay will be submitted at the end of the term)
group discussion about final exam topics with the Portfolio
Informal assessment will include:
- active participation in the sessions including microteaching and contribution to the Forum in Moodle - Language of instruction
