- Course objectives
- Main objectives can be summarized as follows: to learn basic normative Latin grammar, especially morphology; to learn and use basic Latin gramatic terminology; to apply grammatic rules to understand sentences and easy texts or to produce simple sentences; to systematically approach grammatical structure of language; to analyze sentences before translating; to compare similarities and differences between various morphological forms;

- Perfect stem, perfect indicative.
- Indefinite pronouns.
- Plusquamperfect and exact future indicative. Cum iterativum.
- Direct questions.
- Perfect and plusquamperfect conjunctive.
- Conjunctives in simple and subordinate clauses (conditional, cum historicum, indirect questions). Sequence of tenses.
- Supine, perfect and future infinitives.
- Gerund and gerundive.
- Accusative and nominative with infinitive construction.
- Ablative absolute.
- Irregular verbs velle, nolle, malle, fieri, ire, ferre and their compounds. Semideponent verbs.
