The aim of the course is to provide students with the basic knowledge of French.

  • Grammar: conjugation of regular verbs (-er, -ir), irregular verbs (être, avoir, faire, aller, pouvoir, vouloir, venir, connaître, savoir, croire, offrir), imperative, future tense, compound past, pronouns (personal, possessive), numbers 0-1000, definite and indefinite article, il y a Training DELF A1.

Teaching methods
All the basic methods of CLT programme (Communicative Language TEaching)are used: individual, pair, group activities (conversation, practice, drill). Audition. Homework extended to e-learning self-study. 90% of teaching is in French.

Written final test. Six translations (see in Study materials)
