- Course objectives
- Of the course in Bi6120 Plant explants, in which students are familiar with various methods! in vitro cultivation. Expands knowledge towards applications of biotechnology these methods for obtaining natural products available for pharmaceutical use ("Pharming"), food and cosmetic purposes, the preparation of edible vaccines, remediation. Part of the course will focus on GMOs! higher plants with resistance to pests, diseases or adverse external influences. From a methodological point of view, mainly an suspension and submerged culture, elicitation, bioconversion, encapsulation and cryopreservation.
