Course objectives
At the end of this course, students should be able to cultivate, identify and manipulate yeast cells. They should be able to prepare special cultures.
Syllabus
  • Microscopy of yeast cell. Cell wall - staining. Preparation of sferoplasts and protoplasts. Yeast mating and sporulation.
