- Course objectives
- Learning outcomes.
After completion of this practical course students should be able to:
determine and classify typical representatives of particular groups of organisms in accordance to the recent system;
present basic characters of these organisms (macroscopical and microscopical);
explain the basic morphological terms, apply them on real objects;
discuss ecological requirements of these taxa and their practical significance;
utilize basic microscopic techniques and create suitable scientific illustration;
use the facilities for work (especially with microscopical material) in follow-up courses or diploma thesis elaboration. - Syllabus
- Demonstration practice shows representatives of organismal groups, which are presented in concurrent lecture, using macroscopical and microscopical samples, living cultures and conserved material.
