Course objectives
The main goal of this course is to make students familiar with basic principles and strategies relevant in qualitative research in media studies. The course focuses predominantly on methods of textual analysis, bearing mostly on knowledge and techniques of critical discourse analysis.

Teaching methods (in Czech)
Hodiny jsou koncipovány částečně jako přednášky, částečně jako semináře, přičemž bude hlavní důraz kladen na pochopení analytických nástrojů kritické diskurzivní analýzy a schopnost jejich korektní aplikace.
