- Course objectives
- Students should be able to correctly interpret any information relating to safety of food and ready to eat food in relation to health care settings.
- Learning outcomes
- The student will be able to synthesize thinking in relation to current issues of food safety.
- Syllabus
- Examples of an unsafe food including food supplements
- Evidence-based outbreaks of foodbrone infection and poisoning
- Prevention and control of food risks
- Control of food quality and safety in the area of foodstuffs intended for particular nutritional uses.
