Course objectives
The basic obligatory course of the subject paleontology devoted to all students of bachelor study of Geology. It follows the main goal to present them the main general principles of paleontology and a fundamental overview of the paleozoological and paleobotanical system.

  • Introduction to paleontology & The origin of life & System - fundamental characteristics of individual groups of organisms, phylogenetic relations, stratigraphic and paleogeographic extent, use in geology & Procaryota, Fungi & Algobionta & Cormobionta & Protozoa & Archaeocyatha & Porifera & Coelenterata & Vermes & Arthropoda & Mollusca & Bryozoa & Brachiopoda & Echinodermata & Hemichordata & Chordata (Vertebrata) & Contribution of paleontology to geology.

Výuka teoretická i praktická, pro udělení zápočtu nutno kromě účasti úspěšně absolvovat zápočtový test. Zkouška je teoretická (písemný test)i praktická (poznávání fosilií).
