- Parts of the final state examination and its contentThe bachelor's state exam is oral. Topics, knowledge of which is required, are posted on a website of the Department of Classical Studies (in Czech):

At the bachelor's exam, knowledge of rather encyclopedic character is required. Students draw four questions from the announced sets of questions that include the introduction into Ancient History studies, the history of the ancient Near East and Egypt, the history of ancient Greece and Rome and Late Antiquity. The students, who are following the completus study plan, choose one of the additional topics: ancient literature; mythology and religion; philosophy. The additional topic is to be chosen at the end of the 5th semester.
The bachelor's thesis defense is also a part of the exam. Students present main ideas of their thesis and answer questions included in the opponents' reviews and in following discussion. - Suggestion of theses topics and the topics of defended thesesSuggestions of topics:
