Course objectives
The aim of the course is to obtain an overview of special education issues and information on education of pupils with special educational needs.
Syllabus
  • The current concept of special education, a system of care for the people with disabilities, the possibility of integration, inclusion. Basic terminology, categories, methods of diagnosis and the special pedagogy, Etiology, classification of individual failures and defects, the possibility of redress, the application in education. List of schools and school facilities for edukaci pupils with special educational needs. The integrated educational-advisory system.
  • Exercise: classification, definition, diagnosis, characteristics, etiology of disability, reeducation , Somatopedie, psychopedie, logopedie, alternative and augmentative communication, surdopedie, oftalmopedie, surdopedie, specific learning disorders, behavior disorders, behavioral problems. Education of pupils with a special educational needs (the system of care for pupils with disability), the integrated educational-psychological advisory system, legislation.
