- Course objectives
- At the end of the course students should be able to:
repeat and translate: management system consisting of 3 pillars: personal management, general managemnent, leadership, basic personal management and leadership, 4 concepts of the content of general management and basic management components within one of them (component's comcept), basic classical approach to strategic management, basic traditional and modern approaches to public administration budgeting, American, British and Continental school of public administration management
identify: opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses of any organization, insolvency in public administration economy
employ findings: about the classic strategic management in practice, best practice of financial management in practice, best practice of public administration management in practice
apply methods: SWOT, decision analysis and decision-making process modified
analyze: general, branch and internal environment of any organization, influence and expectations of stakeholders, projects managed by public administration via CBA analysis, performance of managers in public administration
propose recommendation: improve the competitive position of any organization, changes in funding of public administration, implementation of selected methods (CAF, New Public Management, New Public Service, Benchmarking, Balanced Scorecard)
judge: actual output of public administration economy in comparison with initial plan
appraise: citizen based monitoring and managerial monitoring of public administration - Syllabus

- Combination of lectures and exercises (addressing specific tasks in teams within some consultations), preparation to processing semester paper

- Completion of a course: Ratings term (semester) paper (criteria: quality and form processing, meeting the deadline of submission) Examination (regular term): test(7 questions + 3 problem solving tasks); Overall rating (simple arithmetic average of the evaluation test and term paper) Examination (resit date): test (7 test questions + 3 solving tasks) and oral examination - Overall rating (simple arithmetic average of the evaluation test, term semester paper and oral examination)
